Viewertech Domain Registration Terms

1. Scope

These terms govern domain-name searches, registrations, renewals, transfers, restorations, nameserver services and related domain services supplied by Viewertech.

They form part of the Viewertech Terms and Conditions.

2. Viewertech's role

Viewertech acts as a domain reseller or intermediary. Viewertech is not the operator of the global domain-name system and does not control registries, accredited registrars, ICANN or national domain authorities.

Viewertech currently uses registrar and reseller systems that may include ResellerClub and PublicDomainRegistry-related services. The sponsoring registrar for a particular domain is identified in registration records.

Your domain is also subject to:

the sponsoring registrar's registration agreement;
the relevant registry's policies;
ICANN policies for applicable generic top-level domains;
local eligibility and dispute rules;
applicable law.

Those external rules are incorporated into your domain contract to the extent required.

3. Availability searches are provisional

A domain-search result is not a reservation or guarantee.

A domain shown as available may become unavailable because:

another person registers it;
the registry updates its data;
the name is reserved, premium, restricted or blocked;
eligibility requirements apply;
the registrar or registry rejects the request;
the search response was delayed or incomplete.

Viewertech rechecks availability before submission. Registration exists only after the registrar or registry confirms it.

4. Manual fulfilment

Viewertech's initial production model uses manual domain fulfilment.

After successful payment, the order may be recorded as:

Pending Manual Registration

This means:

payment has been received;
Viewertech has created the accounting and domain-order records;
the domain has not yet been confirmed as registered;
an authorised Viewertech operator must review and submit the order;
registration can still fail because of availability, price, eligibility, verification or third-party rules.

Viewertech will not describe a domain as registered until the registrar or registry confirms it.

5. Order information

You must provide:

the exact domain name;
registration period;
registrant identity;
organisation information where applicable;
valid email, telephone and address details;
required administrative, technical or billing contacts;
eligibility information and documents;
approved nameservers;
privacy-service choice where available.

You must review spelling and extension carefully. A registered domain normally cannot be renamed.

6. Registrant status and rights

The person or entity recorded as registrant is the registered name holder, subject to registrar and registry rules.

Domain registration grants a limited, renewable right to use the name for the registration period. It does not create ownership of the word or phrase, a trade mark, or immunity from third-party claims.

You are responsible for ensuring that registration and use do not infringe trade marks, names, privacy rights, court orders or other legal rights.

7. Accurate registration data

You must provide accurate, complete and current registration information.

You must update changes promptly and respond to verification requests.

A registrar or registry may suspend, lock, cancel or refuse a domain where information is inaccurate, unverifiable or incomplete.

Viewertech may withhold submission or account changes until identity and authority are verified.

8. Registration agreements and policies

By ordering a domain, you agree to applicable:

registrar registration agreements;
registry terms and eligibility rules;
ICANN registrant rights and responsibilities;
Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy where applicable;
Uniform Rapid Suspension procedures where applicable;
country-code dispute and eligibility policies;
abuse, privacy and registration-data policies.

Viewertech may provide links or copies where available. You are responsible for reviewing extension-specific rules.

9. Pricing

Domain prices may include:

registry and registrar charges;
reseller costs;
currency conversion;
taxes;
privacy services;
premium-domain charges;
restoration or redemption fees;
Viewertech service and support charges.

Prices may change before registrar submission. Viewertech will not submit an order above the approved amount without your consent.

A verified cost and no-loss control may block submission where the registrar cost is missing, stale, ambiguous, zero, unexpectedly high or inconsistent.

10. Premium domains

A domain may be classified as premium by the registry or registrar.

Premium pricing can apply to registration, renewal, transfer or restoration.

Viewertech will request approval before submitting a premium order where the premium price was not already clearly accepted.

If you do not approve the revised price, the unfulfilled domain amount will be refunded.

11. Registration completion

Registration is complete only when:

the registrar accepts the order;
the registry creates the registration;
Viewertech verifies the resulting status.

A payment receipt, invoice, checkout confirmation or Pending Manual Registration status is not registration confirmation.

Where a registrar response is ambiguous, Viewertech will not automatically retry. We will investigate to avoid duplicate registration or charges.

12. Privacy and registration data

Domain registration requires disclosure of registration data to the registrar and registry.

Depending on the extension and applicable policy:

some information may be published through RDAP, WHOIS or similar services;
some data may be redacted;
privacy or proxy services may be available;
identity may still be disclosed for lawful requests, disputes or abuse investigations.

Privacy services are not guaranteed for every extension and do not remove your obligation to provide accurate information.

13. Nameservers and DNS

You are responsible for approving the nameservers used for your domain.

DNS changes may take time to propagate and may cause temporary service interruption.

Viewertech is not responsible for interruption caused by:

unauthorised or incorrect DNS changes;
third-party DNS providers;
expired hosting;
customer configuration;
internet caching;
registry or registrar outage.

Where Viewertech manages DNS, the applicable service scope governs support.

14. Renewals

A domain expires unless renewed before the applicable deadline.

Unless your order expressly enables automatic renewal, Viewertech does not guarantee automatic renewal.

You are responsible for:

keeping contact details current;
monitoring expiry;
paying renewal charges in cleared funds;
allowing enough time for processing;
responding to registry or registrar verification.

Viewertech may send courtesy reminders but is not responsible for a lost domain solely because a reminder was not received.

Renewal prices may differ from registration prices.

15. Expiry, grace and redemption

After expiry, a domain may:

stop resolving;
enter an auto-renew or grace period;
be placed on hold;
enter redemption;
attract restoration fees;
be deleted and become available to others.

Periods and fees vary by extension and can change.

Viewertech cannot guarantee recovery after expiry. Redemption or restoration requests require payment and remain subject to registry approval.

16. Transfers

Transfers are subject to registrar and registry rules.

A transfer may require:

an authorisation code;
an unlocked domain;
valid registrant approval;
completed identity verification;
payment;
no active dispute or hold.

Transfer restrictions may apply, including restrictions following initial registration, a previous transfer or certain registrant-contact changes.

Viewertech will not release or transfer a domain without verifying authority.

17. Registrant changes

Changing the registered name holder may be treated as a transfer or change of control and may trigger:

verification;
registry fees;
transfer locks;
new agreements;
tax or legal consequences.

Viewertech may require written authorisation from both parties and supporting documents.

18. Disputes and rights claims

Domain disputes may be governed by mandatory procedures, including UDRP, URS, national registry processes, trade-mark proceedings or court orders.

Viewertech does not decide ownership disputes.

We may lock, suspend, transfer or cancel a domain where required by:

a registrar or registry;
ICANN policy;
a binding dispute decision;
a court or competent authority;
applicable law.

You are responsible for obtaining legal advice concerning naming rights.

19. Prohibited domain use

You must not use a domain for:

fraud, phishing or impersonation;
malware, botnets or credential theft;
unlawful content or services;
infringement of intellectual property;
spam or abusive messaging;
child sexual abuse material;
threats, harassment or unlawful hate activity;
evasion of sanctions or legal orders;
attacks on networks or systems.

The Viewertech Acceptable Use Policy also applies.

20. Suspension, lock, cancellation and deletion

A registrar, registry or Viewertech may suspend, lock, cancel or refuse a domain where permitted because of:

non-payment;
inaccurate data;
failed verification;
prohibited use;
abuse complaints;
security risk;
dispute proceedings;
legal or regulatory instruction;
registrar or registry policy;
technical error requiring correction.

Where practical and lawful, Viewertech will notify you. Immediate action may be necessary.

21. Refunds

The Viewertech Refund and Cancellation Policy applies.

In summary:

an unsubmitted domain order may normally be cancelled and refunded;
an unavailable domain may be refunded or replaced only with your approval;
premium-price changes require approval;
a successfully submitted or registered domain may be non-refundable;
failed registration will be assessed according to the retained third-party cost and applicable law;
renewal, restoration and redemption fees may be non-refundable after submission.

22. Limitation of responsibility

Viewertech will use reasonable care and skill in submitting and managing domain orders.

Viewertech cannot guarantee:

continued availability before registration;
acceptance by a registrar or registry;
uninterrupted DNS operation;
renewal after missed deadlines;
recovery after expiry;
absence of third-party rights claims;
availability of privacy services;
uninterrupted registrar or registry systems.

Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

23. Communications

Domain notices may be sent to the email in your Viewertech account or the registration contact.

You are responsible for monitoring those addresses, including spam folders.

Service messages may include verification, expiry, renewal, dispute, abuse, transfer and security notices.

24. Complaints and support

Contact Viewertech:

Include the domain name, customer reference, invoice or order reference and a clear description of the issue.

For registrar or registry disputes, Viewertech may direct you to the applicable external procedure.
