Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Viewertech websites, customer portals and services, including domain services, hosting, website and e-commerce services, managed technology services, digital tools, support and related products.
Viewertech is operated by Viewertech Africa CC, trading as Viewertech.
Contact details:
Viewertech Africa CC, trading as Viewertech Principal business location: Hochland Park, Windhoek, Namibia Website: https://viewertech.net Customer support: https://viewertech.net/support Email: info@viewertech.net Telephone: +264 81 604 5915
By creating an account, placing an order, accepting a quotation or using a paid service, you agree to these terms and any service-specific terms referred to in your order.
2. Contracting party and order documents
The Viewertech entity named on your quotation, order confirmation or invoice is the contracting party. The contract consists of:
- the accepted quotation or order;
- these Terms and Conditions;
- any applicable service description, statement of work or service order;
- the Domain Registration Terms, Hosting Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy where relevant;
- any mandatory registrar or registry terms.
If documents conflict, the order above applies unless the relevant document expressly states otherwise. Mandatory law always takes priority.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.
If you act for a company, organisation or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind them. You are responsible for authorised users, contacts and account activity.
You must provide accurate information and promptly update it.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for:
- keeping account credentials confidential;
- using strong, unique passwords;
- enabling available multi-factor authentication;
- restricting access to authorised users;
- reviewing account, contact and billing information;
- notifying Viewertech promptly of suspected compromise.
Viewertech may require identity, payment, registrant or authority verification. We may restrict access where verification is incomplete or security risk is suspected.
You must not share administrative credentials with unauthorised persons or attempt to bypass Viewertech access controls.
5. Website information and quotations
Website descriptions, domain availability and prices are invitations to place an order, not guaranteed offers.
Prices may depend on:
- currency and exchange rates;
- registry or registrar pricing;
- premium-domain status;
- registration period;
- taxes and fees;
- service configuration;
- resource requirements;
- third-party supplier pricing.
A quotation is valid only for its stated period. A domain price or availability result may change before registration. Viewertech revalidates pricing and availability before fulfilment.
We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before fulfilment. If a correction materially increases the price, we will request your approval or cancel and refund the affected unfulfilled item.
6. Placing and accepting orders
An order is submitted when you complete the required checkout or accept a quotation. Payment authorisation or receipt does not by itself confirm that an order has been accepted or fulfilled.
Viewertech may reject or place an order on hold where:
- information is incomplete or inconsistent;
- payment is not verified;
- fraud or security risk is detected;
- domain cost or availability cannot be verified;
- the order would breach law, policy, registrar or registry rules;
- required eligibility documents are missing;
- a service is unavailable;
- the price is clearly erroneous;
- the order would create an unapproved loss.
Viewertech accepts an order when we send an acceptance or fulfilment confirmation, or begin performance in a way that clearly indicates acceptance.
For domains, payment is not registration. A paid domain order may remain Pending Manual Registration until reviewed and submitted. Registration is complete only when the registrar or registry confirms it.
7. Payments
Payments may be processed through Stripe or another method shown at checkout or on an invoice.
You authorise Viewertech and its payment provider to process the approved amount and to use transaction data for reconciliation, fraud prevention, disputes and refunds.
You must pay all undisputed amounts by the due date. Viewertech may suspend services for overdue amounts after reasonable notice, subject to applicable law.
You must not initiate a chargeback for a valid charge without first giving Viewertech a reasonable opportunity to investigate. This does not remove any lawful right to dispute a payment.
Viewertech does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
8. Taxes and currencies
Prices are shown in the displayed currency. Taxes are added or included as stated at checkout or on the invoice.
Where currency conversion is required, Viewertech uses a server-side rate and may round upward to the smallest supported currency unit to avoid undercharging. The amount displayed for final confirmation is the amount submitted to the payment provider.
The final Stripe charge, customer-facing invoice and payment allocation must match in the transaction currency. If a mismatch occurs, fulfilment may be paused while the transaction is investigated.
9. Immediate performance and consumer cancellation rights
Some services are designed to begin soon after payment, including domain registration, hosting setup, configuration, support and digital delivery.
Where applicable law gives you a cancellation period, Viewertech will not remove that right by these terms. Where required, checkout or written acceptance will ask you to:
- expressly request performance during the cancellation period; and
- acknowledge any legal consequence of full performance or digital supply.
If you request early performance and cancel before completion, you may be required to pay a reasonable amount for work properly performed. Where a service has been fully performed after the legally required request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end.
See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
10. Domain services
Domain services are governed by the Viewertech Domain Registration Terms and the rules of the relevant registrar and registry.
You acknowledge that:
- availability is provisional until confirmed;
- Viewertech acts as a reseller or intermediary;
- domain names are registered rights of use, not property owned outright;
- accurate registrant information is required;
- registration, renewal, transfer, redemption and dispute rules differ by extension;
- third-party fees may be non-refundable;
- domains can expire or be lost if not renewed in time.
11. Hosting and infrastructure services
Hosting services are governed by the Viewertech Hosting Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
Unless an order expressly includes managed services, you remain responsible for application administration, updates, credentials, content, data, licences and backups.
Viewertech may apply technical limits necessary to protect service stability and other customers.
12. Digital tools and software
Digital tools, software, templates and downloads are licensed, not sold, unless an order states otherwise.
You may use them only for the permitted purpose and licence scope. You must not:
- remove ownership notices;
- resell or redistribute them without permission;
- reverse engineer them where prohibited;
- use them to violate law or third-party rights;
- use free tools as a substitute for professional judgement in high-risk decisions.
Viewertech may modify or discontinue free tools. Paid digital content remains subject to applicable consumer rights.
13. Professional and managed services
Project, development, migration, consultancy and managed services may be governed by a quotation or statement of work specifying:
- scope;
- assumptions;
- dependencies;
- milestones;
- customer responsibilities;
- acceptance criteria;
- fees;
- change control;
- support arrangements.
Work outside scope requires written agreement and may be charged separately.
You must provide timely access, information, approvals, licences and decisions. Viewertech is not responsible for delay caused by missing customer dependencies.
14. Customer content and licences
You retain ownership of content and data you provide.
You grant Viewertech a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, transmit, back up, process and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and support the services.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required for all content, software and data you provide.
15. Intellectual property
Viewertech and its licensors retain ownership of:
- the Viewertech name and branding;
- platform code and design;
- documentation;
- templates;
- software;
- processes;
- tools;
- know-how;
- pre-existing intellectual property.
Project-specific ownership and licence terms may be stated in the relevant quotation or statement of work.
Nothing transfers intellectual property except by express written agreement.
16. Acceptable use
You must comply with the Viewertech Acceptable Use Policy.
You must not use Viewertech services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, harmful or security-threatening activity.
Viewertech may investigate complaints and may suspend affected services where reasonably necessary to protect customers, systems, third parties or legal compliance.
17. Third-party services
Viewertech relies on third parties including payment providers, registrars, registries, data centres, telecommunications providers, software vendors and infrastructure providers.
Third-party terms may apply. Viewertech does not control all third-party systems and cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability.
Where a third-party service changes, is withdrawn or becomes materially more expensive, Viewertech may propose an alternative, adjust future pricing or terminate the affected service with appropriate notice.
18. Service changes and maintenance
Viewertech may perform planned or emergency maintenance.
We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of material planned interruption where practical. Emergency maintenance may occur without advance notice.
Viewertech may improve or modify services provided that the core contracted service is not materially reduced without an appropriate remedy.
19. Suspension
Viewertech may suspend all or part of a service where reasonably necessary because of:
- non-payment;
- security risk or compromise;
- unlawful or prohibited use;
- material breach of contract;
- abuse complaint;
- resource use that threatens service stability;
- registrar, registry, court or authority instruction;
- inaccurate or unverified registration information;
- urgent maintenance.
Where practical and lawful, Viewertech will notify you and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue. Immediate action may be taken where delay creates risk.
Suspension does not automatically cancel charges already incurred.
20. Cancellation and termination
You may request cancellation through the customer portal or support channel.
Cancellation takes effect according to the service-specific terms, billing period and applicable law. You remain responsible for fees already incurred and third-party costs that cannot lawfully be recovered.
Viewertech may terminate a service for material breach, prolonged non-payment, unlawful activity, repeated abuse, insolvency or where continued supply is impossible or unlawful.
Upon termination:
- access may end;
- data may be deleted according to the Hosting Terms and Privacy Policy;
- domains remain subject to registrar and registry rules;
- unpaid amounts remain due;
- clauses intended to survive termination remain effective.
21. Consumer standards
Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights.
Where consumer law applies, Viewertech will provide services with reasonable care and skill and will honour any mandatory remedies for services or digital content that do not conform to the contract.
22. Warranties
Viewertech warrants that it will provide paid services with reasonable care and skill.
Except where prohibited by law or expressly stated in an order:
- services are provided on an "as available" basis;
- Viewertech does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation;
- Viewertech does not guarantee that a searched domain will remain available;
- free tools and previews are provided without a performance warranty;
- Viewertech does not warrant third-party services beyond rights passed through from the supplier.
23. Liability
Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
For consumers, Viewertech does not exclude liability for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Viewertech is not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, business loss arising from consumer use, or loss caused by your breach.
For business customers, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Viewertech is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or business interruption;
- Viewertech's aggregate liability arising from a service is limited to the fees paid or payable for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
The business limitation does not apply where a separate written agreement provides a different cap.
24. Indemnity for unlawful or infringing use
Business customers will indemnify Viewertech against third-party claims, costs and losses arising from their unlawful, infringing or unauthorised content or use, except to the extent caused by Viewertech.
This clause does not apply to consumers beyond what is permitted by law.
25. Force majeure
Viewertech is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including major network failure, data-centre outage, upstream provider failure, cyberattack, civil emergency, natural disaster, war, labour disruption, government action or widespread power failure.
We will take reasonable steps to mitigate the effect.
26. Privacy
Personal information is handled according to the Viewertech Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Domain registration may require disclosure to registrars and registries.
27. Complaints and disputes
Contact Viewertech first so we can investigate:

Please provide the relevant customer, invoice, transaction, domain or ticket reference.
Viewertech will seek to resolve complaints fairly. Consumers retain any right to use a competent consumer body, regulator, payment dispute process or court.
Domain disputes may also be subject to mandatory registry or ICANN dispute procedures.
28. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Namibia, unless the contracting document states another governing law.
For business customers, Namibian courts have jurisdiction, subject to any agreed dispute clause.
Consumers retain the protection of mandatory laws and access to courts that cannot lawfully be excluded in their country of residence.
29. Changes to these terms
Viewertech may update these terms for legal, security, supplier or service changes.
The current version will be published online. Material changes affecting active paid services will be notified where reasonably required. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights.
30. General
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign the contract without Viewertech's written consent, except where mandatory law permits. Viewertech may assign the contract as part of a genuine business transfer, subject to protection of your rights.
These terms and the order documents constitute the agreement for the relevant service.
